It’s funny, I just started re-reading Part 6 because of complex stuff like this and I have a feeling that when I finish it my opinions on some things will be really different than when I first read it.
It’s true throughout the series that stand users seem drawn to other users, and the ideas of destiny, fate, and reckoning are really important. Everything’s so interconnected in JJBA.
I actually haven’t thought too much about whether gravitation works in real life, I maybe believe in chance more than destiny. I do like the idea of an interconnectedness to things, I think recognizing connections brings about new ideas and new actualities.
But Dio’s words to Pucci, not just here but throughout Stone Ocean, for me feel like they carry multiple meanings … since Dio’s a duplicitous person.
Also it’s interesting to think that with his meetings with people, Dio may be making his own luck. He uses people in accordance with how their abilities work into his larger plans, so it’s not necessarily that his meetings are destined so much as that they become fortuitous when they’re put to use. Chance favors the prepared mind and Dio’s very good at using whatever becomes available.

he’s so cute when he’s pouty
Thanks and agree
On the subject, ASB Dio’s is my favorite Dio pout.
This is cruel, you know Dio loves to be naked. Beautiful art! It looks amazing!
Look at my art log. He needs more clothes.
(Also, thank you).
grumpy dio looks moe
Grumpy Dio looks moe in the canon.
Someone desperately needs to teach this man how to properly apply false eyelashes
This just in: an actual baby can apply false lashes better than Anasui
Maybe he’s born with it.
What is this molecule and why did I not learn about it in Chemistry class?
